The Swedish team came out on top of this Nordic clash and will face Virtus.pro in the title decider. fnatic are through to the grand final of cs_summit 7 following a 2-0 victory over HEROIC in the last-four stage of the tournament. The Swedish team overcame a lacklustre start and put on a near-flawless offensive display on Mirage to take the lead in the series before wrapping things up on Inferno, where the Danes once again struggled after the break. Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson and Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin were the main driving forces behind fnatic in this closely-contested affair, but Jesper "JW" Wecksell also made his mark on the series with some quality AWP shots and three clutches, one of which in the final round of the match. The Swedish team jumped out to an early lead on Mirage, HEROIC's map pick, but the complexion of the game changed once the Danes had money to work with. Casper "cadiaN" Møller's troops quickly took the lead, and they kept their opponents from finding a way back into the game by winning a series of close rounds, heading into the break with a comfortable 10-5 lead. More misery was to come for fnatic as Maikil "Golden" Selim couldn't get the knife kill onto the defusing player in time during the pistol round. The Swedish team bounced back immediately, however, and took control of proceedings, continuously punching holes in HEROIC's shaky defence to reach map point at 15-12, with JW raising eyebrows with a 1v3 clutch on the A site. With no room for error, the Danish team still tried to take the game to overtime, only to falter in the final round as Jackinho picked up a trio of kills to take the team across the finishing line. fnatic got off to a hot start on Inferno, racing to a 6-0 lead on the T side, but then HEROIC fought back. The Danish team displayed a sturdy defence in the remainder of the half - only losing one round in a 4v2 situation - to secure a narrow 8-7 lead. The Swedish team came out of the break a revitalised side and shut out HEROIC to reach map point at 15-9. Just like on Mirage, the Danes woke up once they found themselves on the brink of defeat, but their comeback hopes were dashed in the 28th round as JW pulled off another clutch - his third of the series - to wrap things up.fnatic
